Ultimate Spider-Man Minifigures is 100% compatible with the major brand building toys in the market.

What if Spider-Man started in the year 2000? Writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mark Bagley took Peter Parker back to high school, updating the technology, dialogue, and social dynamics for a contemporary audience.

Key Changes & Highlights:

Modern Origin: The core "power and responsibility" theme remained, but the details were updated. The wrestling match was a televised, UFC-style cage fight.

A Younger Cast: Peter, Mary Jane Watson, and Gwen Stacy were all 15-year-old sophomores in high school. Aunt May was younger and more actively involved.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Involvement: Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. were deeply integrated into Peter's life almost from the beginning, recognizing his potential and often acting as reluctant mentors or handlers.

Reimagined Villains: Classic villains were given new origins and motivations.

Green Goblin became a monstrous, fire-breathing Hulk-like creature.
