Stone Army’s Origins

The Stone Army was created by the Overlord (the embodiment of evil) as an indestructible force to conquer Ninjago.

They were originally built to serve the Dark Lord, but later came under Garmadon’s control.

Garmadon’s Control Over the Stone Army

After the Overlord’s defeat, Lord Garmadon (now fully evil due to the Great Devourer’s venom) took command of the Stone Army.

He used them in his war against Ninjago and the ninja, seeking to claim the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon (a superweapon capable of mass destruction).
